In 2021-2022, Ten Percent Donation Scheme Foundation will sponsor a total of 28 primary school children living in Sham Shui Po and Tai Po, Primary 1 to Primary 6, focusing on providing after-school support services for primary school students from grassroots families in Sham Shui Po and Tai Po, so that students who lack family care can Receive attention and support in learning and physical and mental growth. It can provide safe and reliable custody services for women and their children, so that women can really work with peace of mind, and can enjoy “quality parent-child time” with their children after get off work.
Ten Percent Donation Scheme Foundation cooperates with Hong Kong Federation of Women’s Center to provide learning support for underprivileged children in Sham Shui Po and Tai Po, increase their development space and opportunities, and allow school children to grow up happily. According to the actual situation, the plan will provide comprehensive services that are closer to the needs of women and school children. During the epidemic, the operations of the two centers were temporarily suspended due to epidemic prevention. In view of this, the project team will continue to support project members online using network technologies (such as Zoom, Google Meet, etc.). These include but are not limited to: daily online homework support, weekly child development groups or activities, provision of Internet data cards, homework photocopying support, etc. In addition, a dedicated after-school care tutor will follow up the homework of the students, and social workers or volunteers will lead the students to conduct group activities for one hour every day. Every school year arranges graduation ceremonies to invite parents to participate, parents and children to exchange services, and hold 2 outdoor activities every
school year /Family activities.
