Thank You to the Students of Ying Wa Girls’ School
Ten Percent Donation Scheme Foundation would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Eauracle is a JA (Junior Achievement) Company from Ying Wa Girls’ School for their generous donation of five copies of the board game Sponge City: Future Developer. These games will be passed on to our ” Ten Percent & Catholic Diocese – Companion Growth Supportive Service” students, helping them cultivate environmental awareness and water-saving habits in their learning.
The board game Sponge City: Future Developer is themed around the concept of sponge cities. Sponge cities represent an innovative urban rainwater management system that aims to effectively utilize urban spaces to absorb, store, and release rainwater, thereby reducing flooding and improving water resource management. This game is not only fun but also integrates environmental education, allowing players to learn how to build sustainable urban environments through interaction.
In the game, players will learn water-saving habits, develop environmental knowledge, and participate in the construction of sponge cities. This design not only enhances players’ environmental consciousness but also inspires them to pay attention to sustainable development.
We believe that through this board game, students can enjoy themselves while deeply understanding the importance of environmental protection and applying these concepts to their daily lives. This initiative showcases the youth’s concern for the environment and their innovative spirit, bringing a positive impact to society.
Once again, we thank the Eauracle is a JA (Junior Achievement) Company from Ying Wa Girls’ School, and we look forward to more collaboration in the future to jointly promote sustainable development. Let us work together to contribute to environmental efforts in Hong Kong!
