Ten Percent Donation Scheme Foundation continues our support and donates HK$50,000 for the “2018 Run for Brightness” which was held by Hong Kong Blind Sports Federation (HKBSF) on 27 May, 2018.
On that day, our Founder Dr. Stephen So take time to attend the event and Fully felt the spirit and core values promulgated by the United Nations Convention on the Equal Rights of Persons, experience the concept of equal participation.
HKBSF has been actively promoting the public awareness of the importance of sports development for the visually impaired athlete. Their member athletes have frequently won different awards in a number of major international and local sports events. The Federation also arranges the members to visit schools and corporates, and conduct seminars to deliver the message of “Overcome Adversity” to the youths. Our Foundation shares the vision with HKBSF in encouraging students to overcome difficult situations and using education to alleviate poverty, which coincides with our Foundation’s objective – “Help Others Help Ourselves”.
